Captain Brian Martel, a native Sarasotan, grew up on Siesta Key when there were fewer than 100 homes on the Key. His parents owned the Midnite Pass Fishing Camp, a well known landmark. Brian has been fishing these waters for well over 35 years and he was a snook guide at the age of 12.

Whether it's fishing to live or living to fish, every good captain has to take a break once in a while!!

Our First Mate, Dorian "Doe" Warfield, also a native of Sarasota, has been with us for several years. His fishing skills and quick response in the cockpit, combined wih his genuine concern for everyone's comfort and safety, has made Doe a great favorite with our guests. Our guests with young children expecially appreciate his infinite patience.
